Recently, the judges Sergio Moro and Antonio César Bochenek published an inspiring article in the newspaper “O Estado de S. Paulo”. In the text, they stated that Petrobras “suffered serious economic damages, demonstrated by the payment of million bribes to former directors and by the billion overbilling of works” and upheld the necessity of “criminal justice improvement” by attributing immediate effectiveness of judge´s sentence in the events of “serious specific” crimes, such as huge embezzlement of public funds.
